The idea of creating synergies within a professional sector, through joining forces of individual professionals, was the root cause of the foundation of the Electricians’ Cooperative of Chania (E.C.C.). The broader sector of professional electricians, mechanical engineers, architects and related technical offices operating in the Chania area, make up the base of the Members-Partners of the company.
The Partners-Members, in addition to their financial investment in the equity of the company, are actively involved in the Management bodies of the company, thus implementing more directly the strategy and objectives of the Partner group. Thus, from day one, the operation of the firm is characterized by a set of values and a corporate philosophy that converge in the practice of supporting the partners in their day-to-day activities. Support for the Partners translates in practice into ensuring low prices on products, maintaining a wide range of alternatives in the various product categories, and maintaining sufficient stocks for immediate service without delays.
At the same time, the active partnership between the professionals and the company reinforces the creation of a broader knowledge base on technical issues that accelerates decisions for the introduction of new products and technologies, facilitates the identification of any technical weaknesses in specific products, and assists in identifying the suitability of each product for various applications.
Historically, when E.C.C. was founded, there were 64 members and today there are 118 members.
